Operation Outreach has been serving north Missouri since 1988, providing "econ on wheels" to teachers grades K-12.

Effective economic education in our schools is the key to preparing young people for their own and for the country's future. This site is designed to help teachers integrate economics into their classrooms.

Who We Are

The UMKC Center for Economic Education Operation Outreach program is dedicated to increasing the economic literacy of our society. We believe the best way to do this is through teacher education - preservice and inservice. By educating teachers, our efforts are multiplied through the number of students reached annually by each teacher.
